Ask Arbee Delgado, Abby Basa, and Cece Mariano, managing partners of Kiss The Girl Events, about the changes brought on by the pandemic, and you’d probably find yourself amazed with their response.
It’s no secret how COVID-19 disrupted the wedding industry: many wedding-related businesses such as event suppliers and venues closed their doors, and to-be-weds scrambled to put off their celebrations. Despite all this, their team pushed forward to innovate their strategies and adapt to the significant shifts posed by the new normal. “While the weddings we know now are a lot more different than what we’re used to, I feel somewhat pleased to know that many suppliers like us are powering through, boldly adapting to the new normal,” Arbee said.
They also acknowledged their clients’ strides in conforming to the changes. “Our clients have become more eager to cave into whatever the new normal lays out,” Cece shared.
As an events company navigating these uncertain times, Kiss The Girl Events remains steadfast in its commitment to catering to its clients’ varied needs, providing them awe-inspiring celebrations that will be etched on their memories forever.
“We always make sure to put our heads together, to develop innovative solutions that are beneficial not only for our company but also for our clients,” Abby affirmed. “We also keep all modes of communication open for our clients should they need to consult with us.”

However, considering our current situation, it’s inevitable to encounter several unexpected hiccups that come with intimate weddings, like concerns about their guests’ safety and hiring suitable and efficient suppliers.
As a wedding coordinator, could you share some intimate wedding concepts/ideas that are feasible in our current situation?
The use of technology has been beneficial in pandemic weddings. Livestream weddings allow guests who are not physically present to witness the couple’s special moments. Some even participate in speeches and games in the reception!
