Making a couple's dream wedding come to life is basically what Maxine Covar Events does best. From intricately drawing out the varying requirements of their wedding clients to fully merging all the elements on their special day, it's apparent that the company has captured the taste of their discerning clientele.

For the past four years, Maxine Covar Events has been at the forefront of providing exceptional bespoke wedding styling and planning services in the country. But when the coronavirus pandemic hit, the company, along with the entire wedding industry, faced waves of difficulties.

"I don’t think anyone was ever prepared for the first lockdown that happened in March last year. It was overwhelming and tough navigating through uncharted waters," said Maxine Covar, founder and CEO of the company. "Everything was fluid back then, we all didn’t know when restrictions would be relaxed and when mass gatherings would be allowed."

Despite the challenges, Ms. Covar and her team managed to streamline their focus and direct their actions mainly towards their clients whose weddings were scheduled during the first lockdown period. "We guided them through the changes, from plotting new dates for the wedding, getting a common date where most suppliers would be available, reviewing contracts, to informing guests of the new dates," she shared.

Maxine Covar Events continues to find its stability in this pall of uncertainty while actively fulfilling their clients' hopes of pushing their wedding plans through.

What are the pros and cons of pushing an intimate wedding amid the pandemic?
What is good about having an intimate wedding is that it enables a couple to focus more on what truly matters—each other. It also prompts them to personalize the flow of their wedding with their closest family and friends. However, given the challenges surrounding the pandemic, it isn't guaranteed that everything will be smooth sailing; couples should prepare themselves for possible mishaps along the way.

Could you share some intimate wedding concepts/ideas feasible in our current situation?
Because of travel restrictions and limits on the number of guests allowed in the venue, we highly encourage our couples to live stream their ceremony, that way, those who can’t attend can still get to witness their union.
