What Is Retinol & What Does It Do

Retinol vs Retinoic Acid
Retonoic acid is prescription based through a dermatologist.
VS.
Retinol Cream is over the counter and the highest % you can purchase is 2%.
Our 1% Retinol Cream is a great place to start because it's right in the middle, it's mild enough to be effective but not too strong.

How To Use RRAW’s 1% Retinol Cream
1. Go through your normal skincare routine, cleanse, tone and moisturize.
Please MOISTURIZE WELL because retinol will dry you out!
2. Take a pea-sized amount and dilute it with your current cream moisturizer for your first use.

How Often
Once every two weeks when you are starting. Then increase once a week after your first initial two weeks go well! NOTE this is NOT an everyday thing.

Can you use other products with Retinol
If you are just starting out, it’s best to hold off and just use Retinol & Moisturizer 🙂

Retinization Important
There's this thing called retinization which is your skins adjustment period to retinol. Your skin will be irritated, peel, very dry and extra sensitive for the first 7-14 days. Retinization feels like your skin has been burnt by the sun kind of like a sunburn, which is totally normal!! So don't panic!
