DESCRIPTION: Arugula leaves, also known as rocket or roquette, are tender and bite-sized with a tangy flavor. Along with other leafy greens, arugula contains high levels of beneficial nitrates and polyphenols.
BENEFITS: Arugula is high in several key nutrients for bone health, including calcium and vitamin K.
VEGETABLE SEED SOWING GUIDE:
1. Fill seedling pot or tray with Masitera Vegetable Soil-less Mix and then sprinkle water.
2. Press a hole using your finger then place the seed and cover lightly with media.
Sprinkle again with water.
3. Give enough sunlight once seed starts to germinate and keep soil moist at all times.
4. Transplant the seedling during late afternoon to reduce stress once it has 3 to 5 leaves.
5. Immediately water the seedlings after transplanting.
6. If necessary, use organic fertilizer, pesticide and fungicide for maintenance.
7. Finally you are one step closer to growing your own food!
SEED HANDLING REMINDERS:
-Seeds are treated, Do not use for food, feed or oil purposes.
-Keep away from direct sunlight or high temp.
-Store excess seeds in a ziplock and place inside the refrigerator.
