Our Colourtints are oil-based (a suspension formula). As you take a closer look to your tints (when tints are not shaken up), the translucent part is actually the OIL and the bottom part is the POWDER PIGMENT. You just have to SHAKE YOUR TINTS before every use to achieve the perfect formula. Pigment and Oil vary in each product.
