Glutathione works by inhibiting the skin's production of melanin, resulting in a natural lightening of the skin. Gluthathione soap is often used to treat hyperpigmentation, freckles, melasma, uneven skin tone and age spots. Arbutin comes from bearberry, cranberry, mulberry and blueberry leaves. This is basicaly a plant-derived skin whitening ingredient, which is definitely much safer alternative to hydroquinone (HQ) but has the same exact skin whitening effect.
